Eliza Kelley Memorial Bench & Tree Fund - Grant Park

We were shocked by the sudden loss of Eliza on March 9, 2023, at the age of 29. Two of her dear friends, Allie (Couch) Hyland & Ryan Shirk, would like to raise funds to purchase a memorial bench and tree including a plaque to be placed in Grant Park to commemorate her life.

Eliza was a force of nature and a nature lover. She spent countless hours in Grant Park enjoying the outdoors, taking photos, hanging out with friends, and hiking with beloved family dogs Holly, Buddy, King, Scooby, Kalie, and Georgie. Both Eliza’s childhood home and her elementary school are adjacent to Grant Park, where she attended nature camp and Girl Scout events, played, frolicked, and partied.

The cost of the bench and tree with plaque is approximately $2,000. Any additional funds will be donated to an animal shelter or Doberman rescue in Eliza’s name.

A Memorial Kickball Tournament will be held at a later date. Details TBD.
