The 2025 Birdrace is raising funds for SPURN - A MAGICAL PLACE

Spurn Bird Observatory now owns 12 acres of land, managed by incredible volunteers - but maintaining it all comes at a considerable cost.

The proceeds from the January 2025 Michael Clegg Memorial Birdrace will feed into the management of these seven parcels of precious land supporting;

Conservation; Funding essential resources to create areas for birds and wildlife to breed, overwinter, or seek refuge during migration.

Land Management; Maintain the land long term, providing ideal conditions for native plants and wildlife to thrive.

Additional Resources; Costs of tools, materials and training - essential for year-round management of the land and habitats.
