Young Flathead father fighting for his life

As some of you have heard, there was another motorcycle accident recently. As is the case with so many of these situations, we never expected it to happen to a member of our family. Now, we have a much loved family member desperately fighting for his life!

He is currently getting fantastic care, but we are scrambling as we try to make a plan where one of us is always with him providing a line to lead him back. A major part of this effort unfortunately involves money which we are all short on or struggling with

Here is where we are reaching out to you, and our entire community. Please, please, will you help rally around us? A little or a lot, every bit makes a difference!

We are asking for support for Spurlin Martin, a beloved member of our family; not only is he a father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, he is also a friend to many – including those he first meets. Like all of us, he is an amazing person finding his own way through life.

Spurlin has suffered severe head trauma, brain swelling, several broken bones and multiple abrasions across his body.

He is in the ICU and has already been through a few surgeries with many more to come, to be followed by extensive rehab.

There are numerous ways to help support Spurlin and our family as he endures a long road to recovery. We are asking for any donation or assistance from family, friends, and any kind individual.

All donations will pay for Spurlin’s numerous medical bills, rent and utilities so he has a home to come back to, as well as family travel and lodging expenses – his injuries are severe enough that he was transferred for more specialized care. None of us have contacts in the community he is receiving his care in.

Spurlin’s sister, Martina Martin, is the primary point of contact and coordinator for all of Spurlin’s community support, and will ensure that all funds are utilized in the best interest to provide ongoing care and support for Spurlin.
