Our friend Janet Snyder—our beloved punk rock advocate, fierce friend, and volunteer extraordinaire at Punk Rock Saves Lives—needs our help. Janet has spent years building a vibrant, inclusive community within the punk rock scene, welcoming diverse faces and creating safe, empowering spaces for everyone. As a neurodivergent, queer, polyamorous, and sex-positive individual, Janet is known for her advocacy for marginalized voices and as a vocal supporter of restorative justice and prison abolition.

But now, Janet is facing legal challenges and needs $5,000 to cover her legal fees. This is where we, the community she’s worked so hard to support, can step in and show our love and solidarity.

As a dedicated volunteer and passionate advocate for Punk Rock Saves Lives, Janet has dedicated her energy to causes that uplift us all. Punk Rock Saves Lives exists to promote health, wellness, human rights, and equality in our scene, and Janet has been a vibrant part of that mission—always showing up, always holding space, and always advocating for positive change.
