SPUD Short film

The film follows an outrageous, potato-obsessed family living on a farm in the midwest and their Sunday dinner that goes completely off the rails. Think Napoleon Dynamite meets Fargo meets American Beauty… but with potatoes. And a good deal of blood. And huge wigs. And it’s sad! But funny. And weird.

Anyways, this does indeed take place on a farm in the midwest, and we are smack dab in the middle of Southern California. So we need your help turning something down here into something that resembles a midwestern farm! Your money will also go toward feeding our crew and renting gear to make the film!

We are shooting this film next fall and we will take the Spring and Summer to plan the production and make sure we can deliver as lovely of a film as possible to you all! We have not rounded out our whole crew yet, but here are the people behind this GoFundMe and this film as of now!:
