In Memory of Kaelynn Gail Ramsey

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the unexpected loss of our beloved sister, daughter, granddaughter, Kaelynn. She was a light in our lives, taken far too soon. As we navigate this difficult time, we are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and provide relief for our grieving family.

”Kaelynn Gail Ramsey, age 8, of Mayodan, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.

Kaelynn was born on February 24, 2017, to John and Patricia Mero Ramsey. She was a spunky, red headed firecracker that was much older than her age. Kaelynn fought many health battles and was an amazingly strong little girl that loved everyone. She always enjoyed going to the park and to the pool. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and she adored unicorns, rainbows, and The Little Mermaid. Kaelynn also enjoyed coloring and many other arts and crafts. Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven”.

Those that will meet Kaelynn at heavens gates are her grandfather, George Mero; and her grandmothers, Shannon Gallo and Kay Ramsey.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish Kaelynn’s memory are her sister, Hailey Locklear and husband Christian; her brothers, Logan Ramsey and wife Caroline and Lucas Ramsey; her grandfathers, Tony “Grandpapa” Gallo and Laz Ramsey; and her three nephews, Theo, Ryder, and Rowan.”
