Sprout - Student 3D Animated Short Film

Hello friends, family, and colleagues! My name is Carolina Bermúdez, a recent graduate from Missouri State University’s Electronic Arts Collab program and the creator of Sprout. After a successful production and school year, the Sprout team is now raising funds to submit our short film to film festivals around the world!

Sprout, is a 9-minute, light-hearted 3D animated short created for children. The story follows Sprout, a tiny robot, who quickly becomes overwhelmed by his list of garden tasks that he’s unable to complete on his own. After chaos ensues, misfit animals turned friends offer support and Sprout learns that it’s ok to accept help from others. Together, Sprout and his new friends accomplish all of their goals through teamwork.

Within this collaborative program at MSU, we had the incredible opportunity to work as a team of 5, who all helped bring this story and project to life.

Our Crew:

Since the entirety of this project is student funded, all of the funds raised through this page will go directly towards our submissions and entries into film festivals both locally and internationally. These submissions help our project gain traction in the industry, allow us to meet more creatives, and of course, share our work with children and families everywhere!
