SPRINT TO KENTUCKY

The New York City Film Industry and our network of friends and family are collecting supplies to donate directly to Kentucky tornado victims. We are setting up collection centers around the city where you can drop off supplies. With the help of Tom O'Donnell and the Local 817 teamsters we will send trucks to the collection centers at the end of the week. From there, the trucks will drive to Kentucky to deliver the supplies directly to those in need.

If you physically can not donate supplies you can donate to our GoFundMe. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of supplies. This Friday we will make a withdrawal and take the funds to a wholesale store to purchase as many supplies as we can afford. We will then load the truck and send the supplies down to Jarod Hines and the Rise and Shine Organization in Bowling Green Kentucky.  We met Jarod while researching  to find where the supplies are needed most. The Rise and Shine Organization was listed on a document created by Alexa Hatcher and kftc.org  Thanks to this document we were able to get Jarod on the phone.  Jarod enlisted to be our contact on the ground and will make sure all the supplies get into the hand of those who need them most.
