In 2021, survivor-activist Anjali Tamang opened a school in her village of Nepal to provide a bright future to the next generation. We are now educating over 160 children, and providing residential care to 39 girls who live too far to walk to school.
We have just begun construction of a second school building as we have outgrown our current space. The new building will house classrooms and a community meeting space for training and awareness events. We are raising funds for this new construction and for the monthly running costs of the school.
"For the last 12 years, I have had a dream - to provide education and hope to children in my village in Nepal, so that they will not have to suffer the traumas that I experienced as a child, being trafficked to India.
Thankfully, I was rescued and given the help and support I needed to heal and rebuild my life. The love of God, and the love and hard work of many people have gotten me to the point where I am ready to bring my dream to reality, I plan to offer a different life to children in my community, through the light of education. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me". ANJALI TAMANG
