More information about Friends Of Flight 93 National Memorial Inc (Friends of Flight 93): Established in 2009, the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial is the official charitable organization of Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA. As the official non-profit partner of the Memorial, the Friends' aim is to inform, honor and pay tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 by supporting the Memorial with volunteers and resources. The Friends' mission is to focus on awareness, education, volunteer support, preservation and stewardship. Since its inception, the Friends have worked alongside the National Park Service in partnership and stewardship. The Friends are a registered 501(c)3 organization with tax deductible donations. We are a diverse group, which includes family and friends of the passengers and crew of Flight 93, local members and volunteers, residents of Western Pennsylvania and many individuals nationwide and abroad who have been inspired by the heroes of Flight 93 and who wish to support and be a part of the Friends' mission.
