What is Spread Love Day?

Spread Love Day is about providing for those desperately in need during the harsh New England winter.

Our plan is to provide blankets and access to food for the homeless this winter.
We are hoping to give people another perspective on how to express love this Valentine’s Day, by loving thy neighbor.

Why are we doing this?

“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law” (Romans 13:8). Much like what is discussed in Romans 13:8, We feel like it is our obligation as human beings to help our brothers and sisters that are in need.

Our call to Action

The Problem: There are many people in the Greater Boston Area that are displaced and homeless this cold winter.

The Solution: To provide care packages to the homeless in the Greater Boston Area.

What is in the care package?

The goal is to provide a care-package to 50 people in the Greater Boston Area that consists of:

1 Fleece Blanket
A $10 Dunkin Donut gift cards
2 Hand Warmers (8 hours of heat per packet)
1 Space Grabber Blanket
$25 provides a care-package to a person in need this winter. Although a donation amount of your choice will be greatly appreciated.

Ultimately, we need to reach the goal of $1500 to help 50 people.
