Friends and family,

My mom and I have been given the opportunity to go on a one-week mission trip to the Dominican Republic with her church, and we feel incredibly grateful and excited for this experience. This will be our second mission trip together as our first one took place in Guatemala two summers ago. There, I served as the youngest on the team of 9 seniors. I was extremely humbled as I went with the intention of being the teacher, but I soon realized I was a student, learning so much about myself, the world, and the Lord from meeting the community.

During this year’s trip, we’ll be serving alongside a bigger team in several different areas such as medical support, children and youth programs, and outreach within the local community.

A big part of this mission is sharing the Word of God with people who may not have had the opportunity to truly know Him or experience His love. We feel called to spread hope and faith to those we meet through the Grace of God.

We are currently raising funds to help cover travel expenses and provide supplies for the communities we’ll be serving. If you feel led to support us through a donation or by keeping us in your prayers, it would truly mean so much to us. Nothing is expected, but everything is deeply appreciated.
