Annie and I are so excited to bring the Spread the Word, End the Word campaign to Beswick Elementary!

As special educators, we are passionate about inclusion. This campaign focuses on educating and providing resources to students and staff to facilitate inclusion in the school setting. By making inclusion a priority and creating inclusive opportunities throughout the school day, we can be confident that all students, with and without disabilities, feel heard and respected at school.

Our goal is to ensure that all students and staff have the education and understanding to be inclusive at school and help foster inclusive opportunities among all our students. We hope to provide students with the tools to connect with all students and form meaningful friendships with others through acts of kindness and acceptance.

The funds raised will help us purchase the materials and tools we need to bring this campaign to Beswick and educate the whole school about inclusion and what inclusion looks like in the school settings. After the campaign ends, we plan to use any leftover funds to purchase outdoor equipment that can help foster friendships among all students at Beswick.
