I’m Rowan Spraker, a young filmmaker and founder of SprakSlate productions, and am trying to raise $2000 in order to produce my newest short film Keys. The funds raised will go toward professional actors, a music composer, and location permits.
Keys is a story of a work-obsessed pianist whose dream of becoming a renowned composer is shattered after a sudden accident leaves him with nerve-damaged hands.
Initially, my team and I plan to release the project via YouTube as a three-part series. We then plan to launch SprakSlate productions into the Chattanooga film scene starting with submitting Keys to the 2018 Chattanooga Film Festival. From there, we will submit it to film festivals all over the South including the Nashville Film Festival, Sidewalk, Savannah Film Fest, and Indie Memphis Film Festival.
Our passion for film and storytelling is what propels us to create original work to share, as well as wanting to showcase our beautiful hometown of Chattanooga.
As a “Thank you” to our donors who will make this dream a reality, we offer the following incentives (these incentives will be available once the project has been completed):
$20 donation: A thank you card and your name in the films credit.
$30 donation: You will receive a youtube link once the project is completed and be one of the first to see it ( includes thank you card and film credit.)
$60 donation: T-shirt, youtube link, and film credit.
$100 Silver Sponser donation: Film poster, t-shirt, youtube link, and film credit
$250 Gold Sponser donation: Signed film poster, T-shirt, youtube link, and film credit.
$500 Platnium Sponser donation:Signed copy of the screen play, signed film poster, two T-shirts, youtube link, and film credit.
Our top five donors will be invited to the premier and each will be gifted a framed poster of the film's logo.
We will be updating our progress from pre- to post-production, YouTube launch, and film festival acceptance, both here and via social media avenues. #keysshortfilm
About SprakSlate Productions:
SprakSlate Productions is a group of young filmmakers from the Chattanooga area. Our journey began by taking an idea for a safe driving PSA – from concept to completion – for the State Farm Insurance Drive 2n2 campaign in 2015. This effort culminated in winning a $100,000 grant for our school’s film department. Ever since we have been striving to hone our craft and continue to tell meaningful stories.
