Run and Donate for Sam Smith

3 years ago Sam received the terrible news that no young husband and father of 3 wants to hear. Doctors told Sam he has incurable Cancer and was given a maximum of 2 years to live.

If you know Sam, you won’t be surprised that his determination and stubbornness have seen him smash past what any Doctor said was possible. Sadly after years of positive results Sam and his Family have now been told that there are no more treatments available. Sam’s reaction to this is no different now to how he was when he was first diagnosed and when people ask his response is “there’s plenty of fight in me”

 Everyone knows how hard Sam has worked in his 23 years of service with Sports Direct, during that time he’s built lifelong friendships and has been loved by the teams in all the stores he’s worked in and so many of us desperately want to show our appreciation for all the years of laughter, jokes, training, support and guidance he has given us.

All of the money we raise will go straight to Sam's wife Teresa and his 3 children Archie, Tommy and Tilly and we hope that in some way we can help with any memories they want to make together.
