What is Anak Unik?

“Anak Unik” means “Unique Child” in Indonesian. The Anak Unik Foundation supports children with disabilities by offering them a safe, loving, and inclusive environment where they can learn, grow, and express themselves — just like any other child.

This school, called Anak Unik, was created for children with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, or severe learning difficulties.

In the past, there was a strong taboo around children like this, and many were kept at home.

Fortunately, people are becoming more open about the subject, and now there are special schools where these children can learn, grow, and be themselves.

Right now, the Anak Unik Foundation has very limited sports equipment. The few materials they have — like old balls and broken cones — are often held together with duct tape. Despite this, the children show incredible enthusiasm and energy during every activity.

With your donation, we want to provide proper sports materials such as quality balls, cones, ribbons, hoops, and other essential items. This will allow the children to move more freely, play safely, and experience a wider variety of physical activities.
