SPORA Scholars Program: Send Our Kids To School

Donation protected
In 2018, I had the opportunity to travel to my home village in Rural Zimbabwe to do some developmental projects on behalf of the University of Louisville. After seeing many youth in the area without school fees and extra educational help, I decided to use my school refund & research grant money to send these children to school. Our project then became SPORA Scholars Program, a project meant to allow African Youth to receive a robust learning experience that would catapult them from primary and secondary education to the University Level. Our goal was and is to see village youth sharpen their talents and skillsets to return and contribute to our rural communities.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, many of our students will not be able to continue their education, and our project is running out of resources to keep going. We are looking for donations to help our children learn, live and grow through their education.

From school fees, sanitary pads, books, clothes, food stuffs, and extra lessons, we hope to provide a stable and sustainable learning environment for our pupils.

With the school semester starting this month, we hope that you will give and share our page so that our children will be able to learn this academic year!

God Bless.
