Spooner's medical treatment funds

As most of you know, Karey, Spooner, and I started our new journey in St. Pete earlier this week. We were so excited to start a new chapter but then the unimaginable happened. Our sweet Spooner started acting unlike himself Monday night so we rushed him to the vet and they started running tests on him.

Long story short, Spooner, had to go through emergency surgery last night due to having a perforated small intestine which began to leak into his abdomen which lead to abdominal sepsis. The DR and surgeons told me that if I would've waited another day Spooner would not have made it. He is currently in ICU right now fighting for his life and I pray and believe he will have the strength to pull through!

Spooner is a 2.5 year old Weimaraner/Lab mix who is full of energy, love, and a whole bunch of goofiness. A few of Spoons favorite things to do is chase after tennis balls, go for golf cart rides, going for long walks with his Gigi(my mom) and Chris(my mom's boyfriend), fishing with his dad, and snuggling with my girlfriend, Karey. Spooner is much more than just a dog--he is a very special family member with four legs. No other dog can replace Spooner so that is why we are doing everything possible to save him and give him the attentive and critical care that he needs.

With all that said, the expenses are racking up quite a bit due to the extensive treatments and medications that are required to keep him stable and hopefully on the road to recovery. We certainly aren't the ones to usually ask for help but with him being hospitalized and us just moving here, things are getting expensive as you can imagine.
