Could you imagine a Halloween film where two queer best friends in the big easy go out for a little too much to drink , get separated by evil vampires, lots of absinthe, beads, spooky bounce music, twerking zombies, swamp fairies, etc?

Well it isn't a thing just yet.. BUT with your support you could make it a reality!

So, maybe you're wondering..

What the heck is Spookapolooza anyways?

Spookapolooza started out as just an Halloween album that was released October 1st 2020. Throughout the month of October, SAILEM and CRUX released a visual film and Put on one hell of a D.I.Y garage concert like no other during a fucking pandemic! This was all planned under less than 4 months - Talk about commitment.

This project has the potential to be so much more than just that!

We'd love to expand and branch off into a festival, animated shorts, merchandise, alternate universes and so much more.

This universe is ever expanding and has multiple opportunities to elevate queer content to a new level.

The minds behind SPOOKAPOLOOZA

They say that dreams can't happen over a face-time call. But these two made it happen.

Crux & Sailem are frequent collaborators and have multiple songs out together like D.S.H, Black Cat, So Sexy, & Make Em Wait with many more to come.

The two found each other through twitter and connected INSTANTLY.

Their first time meeting in person was filming the first Spookapolooza film!

Because of their work ethic and compatible energies - it's safe to say that both Sailem & Crux are a force to be reckoned with and are always pushing boundaries.

Meet CRUX

This Non-binary SPACE OBSESSED artist made this ambitious dream come to life.

CRUX is a musician from Memphis. Not only do they make music.

They Cowrote/Filmed/Edited majority of this project.

Their music vibe is an eclectic mix of hyper pop & alt+Electronic pop.

They have manifested their most recent project titled “Crux+” which features multiple queer artist from around the world Including Myah Marie who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Etc.

While dipping their toes into something they've never experienced before- They also made their Debut performance at the Spookapolooza DIY concert closing with “Black Cat”.

(fun fact: wrote & recorded 4 demos songs for the album in one night- INSANE)

Meet SAILEM

The king of halloween, minor key and the head bitch of Spookapolooza!

This devil is a Non-binary artist from St. Louis, Missouri.

Halloween is their favorite holiday of all time! Mixing their love of music and all things spooky.

Spookapolooza was born- and the rest was history.

From dancing on a pole surrounded by fire WHILE eating fire, sleepless nights of mixing+recording, putting together a D.I.Y. concert in the middle of a pandemic, lots of fake blood, lots of sweat, and plenty of tears- it's safe to say that this is a project for the books!

Their music is a cutting edge fusion of emotionally raw bedroom pop and broody witch house with R&B, hip hop and alternative influences.

Sailem's sound is constantly changing and extremely experimental, but will always have their recognizable addictive hooks and magical flare.

Anyways, we could go on all day about what's in store for this whimsical project BUT we gotta get the ball rolling somehow. We start filming NEXT YEAR!
