Well, the day finally arrived, and even in the heat we didn’t just stop at Mam Tor… we carried on walking for a few more hours!

Thanks to the money raised, we’ve been able to:

Order some nets for training


Buy some much‑needed training equipment


Pay for all our summer tournaments


Cover referee fees for a few friendlies over the summer


And finally get some training kits sorted

in May 2026 now due to fixture change the girls and parents of Rossington FC U12 Girls will be taking on the challenge of conquering Mam Tor!

We’re aiming to raise as much as possible to cover the costs of the 2026/27 season for Rossington FC U12 Girls. Running a grassroots football season costs no less than £1,000, which includes referee fees and winter training. That’s before factoring in training kits, match kits, and any unforeseen expenses that may arise.
