On 7 March 2026, Fairhaven Singers are performing Benjamin Britten's War Requiem in Ely Cathedral, alongside Ely Consort, Chapter House Choir, Stephen Perse Cambridge and Brandenburg Sinfonia. A project like this is very expensive, and even if we sell out we won't come close to breaking even, so we're trying various ways to make up the deficit. To this end, a group of choir members are walking 17 miles along the Cam from Cambridge to Ely in February, and we'd be thrilled if you were able to sponsor us.
