Sponsored retro bike ride for school roof campaign

Hi my name is Edward and I'm a 7 year old cycling enthusiast. On Sunday 1st June I have set myself the challenge of taking part in a 48km bike ride at the Velo Retro festival in Ulverston, Lake District to help raise funds for a new roof at my school - St Mary's Bolton-On-Swale Primary School. Not only will the hills & the distance be a challenge but I’m also entering in the full spirit of the festival by riding a vintage 1970s 5 speed Raleigh racer bike. This bike is all steel and quite heavy by modern standards! I have been busy training and practicing using the downtube gear shifters. Im looking forward to taking on the challenge with my mum, dad & Grandad riding with me. Thank you for your support!
