Sponsored Mountain Climb for Creative Support

Hello! We are five colleagues who have banded together to climb the 2nd highest mountain in the UK (Ben MacDui) to  raise money for new activity equipment for clients at Creative Support’s London Services. Additionally, we are celebrating 30 wonderful years of Creative Support and wanted to commemorate this occasion. If you are able to, we would be very grateful if you could sponsor us!

Creative Support is a not-for-profit company that provides support to over 5000 adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs. In addition we also work with older people to ensure that they maintain their independence and daily activities.

Our clients have stoically pulled though the pandemic in a highly inspirational manner; overcoming loneliness and isolation with their resilience and creativity, and we want to give back to them for their amazing efforts. We would like to buy some CD/music players, disco lights and light therapy equipment for use at our London services. A lot of our clients love to dance and sing so we think this would massively brighten up the winter months for them! We would also like to invest in some new gardening equipment to prepare for next spring. One thing that the pandemic has proven is that we have a lot of green-fingers across Creative Support London! Giving our clients the opportunity to develop their hobbies and interests is something we are all very passionate about. Many of our services have wonderful garden spaces so we would like to invest some money in their development and maintenance. Alongside these main two projects, we hope to also buy more puzzles and art equipment to cater to everyone's interests and abilities.
