Sponsored Bike Ride for Agnes' Prosthetic Leg

Welcome to Agnes's fundraising page. Here lies a heartwarming story of acceptance and encouragement. 

Agnes Simaloi Kimiti is a 19-year-old, Kenyan, university student. Born with a congenital anomaly (a missing leg limb) into the Masaai community where formal education was scarce and resources far and few between, Agnes has risen with the help of community and well-wishers to become an inspiration to all around her.

Join us in supporting Agnes to go the distance in her mission to change the world by changing her community starting with her. Partnering with LEGS 4 AFRICA and AJMA clinic in Tanzania we will travel to fit Agnes with a prosthetic leg free of charge that will enhance her mobility and freedom. Ultimately empowering her to continue her inspiring journey and uplifting others along the way.

WHO

Chantelle Kaaria, who has been friends with Agnes for 8 years shared the story with avid cyclists and friends. The three friends including: Lead cyclist Gilbert Owino alongside Njeri Maina, and Chantelle Kaaria decided to go the distance for the worthy cause.

WHAT

a 40K cycle on the 23rd of September from Mihango to Ruiru

WHERE

As we cycle from Mihango to Ruiru in a bid to raise 10,000=/ or £550 for the trip to take place in December

WHEN

The cycling Fundraiser will happen on the 23rd September

The trip will take place on the 4th December - 18th December
