Help Get Rescue Cats from North Macedonia to Their Loving UK Homes

Every week, beautiful, friendly rescue cats in North Macedonia are ready for a second chance at life in the UK — but there’s one heartbreaking barrier: the cost of legal, safe transport.

The journey from North Macedonia to the UK is long, carefully regulated, and expensive. By the time each cat has had their vet checks, vaccinations, and all the legal paperwork, the transport fee alone can be more than many adopters can afford. This means cats stay waiting in foster homes (or worse, on the streets) far longer than they should.

Every rescued cat deserves a safe, loving home — but for our cats in North Macedonia, there’s one big hurdle: the cost of safe, legal transport to the UK.

Our Goal

Our goal will be to raise enough money to get twelve cats to the UK, filling twelve seats! It costs £400 to transport one cat, and this covers everything:

• Licensed animal transporter fees

• Fuel, road tolls & Channel crossing

• Vet checks & official travel paperwork

• Border Control fees & pet carrier charges

For many adopters, paying both an Adoption Fee and a £400 transport cost is simply too much. This means cats often wait months longer to start their new lives.

Our Solution

We’ve created this Sponsor-A-Seat fund so that adopters only pay the Adoption Fee.

Your donations will pay the transport costs, allowing each cat to travel safely to their UK family without delay.

For every £400 raised, another cat gets to start their happy-ever-after.
