Sponsor Ukrainian Refugee Family

My wife Viktoriya's Cousin Kateryna lives in Kyiv with her husband and 7-year-old son. Due to the fighting, she has lost her job, and her husband is not allowed to leave the country. Not only is she in constant fear for the lives of her family, but she is also challenged to support them. With our relationship, and under the USCIS Uniting for Ukraine Program, we have been approved to bring them to the US to live with us until the crisis ends. We are so excited to help them, but this move brings many personal and financial challenges, not the least of which will be learning a new language and culture. We will, of course, provide them with room and board, as well as general financial support, but their needs will be extensive. This includes helping Kateryna to find work, learn English, buy new clothing, provide healthcare, and assist with transportation. In addition, we will be enrolling her son Illia into school here in Nocatee at Palm Valley Academy. Depending on Kateryna's employment prospects, we may need to register him in aftercare and will be looking for an additional English tutor. All of this is on top of travel costs to the US and additional Work Authorization costs to enable her to work.

Not only do we welcome any financial support, but if any of our friends or family have prospects that can help with employment or tutoring, this would also be much appreciated.

100% of all funds raised will go directly to Kateryna and Illia, and any surplus funds will go to help the rest of her family left in Ukraine.
