Hello everyone,

We are fundraising for a very special dog named Speedy.

As a puppy, Speedy was found with his littermates in a canal during cold rain. A kind person rescued them and worked hard to find homes. All of the puppies found their happy endings. Sadly, two years later, Speedy’s adopter could no longer keep him due to unforeseen circumstances.

Here there is no real way to return a dog. There are no shelters, very limited resources, and almost no adoptions for adult dogs, especially mixed breeds. For Speedy, this means only one outcome: the streets, right back where his story began.

Something about Speedy stayed with us. He is gentle and timid, and we know he would not survive on the streets. We could not turn our backs on him, so we decided to give him another chance at life.

We have a flight volunteer and a rescue in Washington, DC ready to welcome Speedy with open arms. All that stands between him and safety is the cost of his flight.

Speedy will be our first dog of 2026 to leave our rescue, and we want to start the new year off right!

Any amount truly helps, even $1. Please consider donating and sharing so Speedy can have the future he deserves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
