Road to the 2028 Olympics: An American Wrestler's Journey
In the pursuit of Olympic gold, there are athletes who embody the very spirit of America—determination, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to their craft. One of those athletes is Soren Pirhun, an exceptional young Greco-Roman wrestler who stands on the doorstep of greatness and is selected to represent USA Team in 2025 U20 Pan-American Wrestling Championship on July 10th in Peru.
At just 19 years old, Soren has already built an impressive resume, proving himself as one of the best Greco-Roman wrestlers in the country. He is the:
• 2024 National Fargo Champion
• 2024 Pennsylvania Greco-Roman Champion
• 3x Virginia State Greco-Roman Champion
• USA Open Runner-Up
• 4X All American
Now, he has earned the honor of representing Team USA at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But his dream doesn't stop there. Soren's ultimate goal is to represent the United States at the 2028 Olympics and bring home the gold for his country.
The True Cost of Greatness
For every Olympic gold medalist who stands on the podium, hands over heart as the national anthem plays, there is a story of immense struggle. A story of relentless training, sleepless nights, financial hardship, and an unwavering belief in the dream.
Unlike athletes in professional sports who sign million-dollar contracts, wrestlers like Soren dedicate their lives to a sport that demands everything from them—physically, mentally, and financially—with little to no financial security in return. They can't commit to a full-time job. Their education often takes a backseat. Their entire existence revolves around one mission: to raise the American flag on the grandest stage in sports.
The reality is that most Olympic gold medalists started from the bottom. Many of them faced financial struggles in their early careers. They relied on the support of their countrymen—people who believed in the importance of sport, patriotism, and the honor of seeing their flag rise above all others.
Why Should You Support Soren?
Because athletes like Soren are warriors for our nation in a different kind of battle. Just as veterans put their lives on the line to defend our freedom, these athletes endure grueling training, injuries, and personal sacrifices to bring glory to our country. They deserve just as much respect.
Soren could be the next Jordan Burroughs of Greco-Roman wrestling. But for him to achieve that dream, he needs support—not just in words, but in action.

This is More Than Just Wrestling—This is About us
When Soren steps onto the mat wearing the USA across his chest, he isn't just wrestling for himself—he's wrestling for all of us. For every American who believes in grit, perseverance, and the honor of competing for something greater than oneself.
The journey to Olympic gold is long and brutal. But with the support of patriotic Americans like you, we can help Soren turn his dream into a reality.
