Hello, my name is Ashley Boynes-Shuck and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my husband, Mike Shuck. His goal for his 40th year is to complete an IronMan - the toughest of all triathlon races! 

 

Ironman races are not only physically grueling and mentally challenging, they are also expensive. (And talk about commitment - he quit his part-time job to train for it!)

 

So: instead of a birthday or Christmas gift, please consider donating whatever amount you feel called to give and are able to contribute in order to help 'sponsor' Mike in his training and help with registration, equipment, and travel associated with the Ironman race. T

his is all he's asking for this year for Christmas and his birthday! So if you do wish to give him a gift,  or were already planning on doing so anyway, a donation towards his Ironman journey is all he wants! (We also will not be having a 40th birthday party for this same reason: time, energy, and money are going towards the Ironman this year!)
