Hi, my name is Aiden, and I’m 12 years old. I have a lifelong liver condition that sometimes makes it hard for me to walk, and I have to use a wheelchair. Despite this, I love staying active and even riding my bike, but on my toughest days, even going for a walk can feel impossible.

To help me stay active and keep doing what I love, my family and I are raising money for a special attachment that will turn my wheelchair into an electric bike. This will allow me to enjoy the freedom of cycling, even when my health holds me back. Unfortunately, we can’t afford it on our own, so I’ve set myself a big challenge to raise the funds!

I’m going to swim the equivalent distance from my home in Brecon to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where I go for treatment. I will be swimming a couple of times a week over 2 months, clocking up the swimming miles.It’s a huge challenge, but I’m determined to make it happen and raise the money I need.
