The USA Dance Eugene/Springfield 1010 Chapter Dance Team was founded to introduce aspiring young dancers to the art of ballroom dancing. This beginner’s master class focuses heavily on technique in order to build confidence through strength, skill, and grace. The classes are run completely by volunteer efforts and are free for students to attend.

We are fundraising to pay for studio rental space, the largest expense of this program, and to buy more technique and performance-related equipment for our team. For this fundraiser, our goal is to reach $3,000.00. Reaching this amount would cover the cost of one year of studio rental for lessons, help us bring back weekly practices, and provide the funds to better support the needs of the team with specific technique books and training equipment. To help conceptualize this amount, we broke down the numbers:

Lessons cost $100 per month

Practices cost $35 per week

A year's worth of lessons and practices ($35 x 52 weeks + ($100 x 12 months) = $3,020)
