Welcome to my “sponsor a lap program” My name is Liam Anderson. At the age of 3, I lost my Mom Samantha to Cancer. At the age of 6, after counseling and therapy wasn’t working, my father decided that I needed something positive to promote my healing. At the age of 5, after trying out a racing simulator, a light bulb illuminated. My talent was made for competitive racing. At the age of 6 I found a throttle pedal. By the age of 10, I graduated 3rd in my class in NASCAR’s prestigious racing school out of Philadelphia. Now, I’m using my courage, strength and resilience to symbolize the fight of cancer for kids on the track with driver’s 3 times my age. Entering corners at over 100mph, I have no fear. And I do this in honor of my Mom. Since the age of 5 I have raised over 30 thousand dollars for children and their families in the fight. I’m mad, and I won’t stop there. Each year I honor a child who is still fighting, has won the battle or has ultimately succumbed to this disease that took my Mom’s life. I promised my Mom that I would rise from the ashes. After 7 wins, and 20 top 5’s, to kicking cancer’s ass my rookie season in dirt just .2 tenths of a second off the leaders per lap, that year’s recipient earns a front row seat to speed and courage on my helmet. At the end of the year, my helmet is retired and given to the child or family.
My mission is helping 200,000 kids per year spread awareness. My brand is loudly spoken to fight. If you would like to support my mission, and give back directly to each of the families that I fight for, click that button. Help me make a change in their lives. Be that strength and hope that pushes them across the finish line and to the bell.
