Sponsor a Columbus Student

As many of you know, I'm a teacher at Columbus Elementary School in New Rochelle.  We have done our very best to ensure that all 800+ of our students have received Chromebooks, as many of them don't have home computers.  However, up to 120 of our families are still without internet access, many of which simply cannot afford the setup fee.  If you'd like to help "sponsor a student," $30 will cover their WiFi setup and $60 would provide a little extra cushioning to carry them through the end of the school year, if needed... making our BIG goal of $7,200.  ALL DONATIONS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO OUR COLUMBUS PTA.

Rhonda Hunt, manager/instructor at Barry's Bootcamp in Scarsdale and my GEM OF A FRIEND, has offered to partner with me and teach a 45 minute charity workout class via Zoom on Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 AM.  Donations can be made through this date and I'll send you the Zoom link with a donation of any amount!

This is such a trying time for everyone and NOTHING is expected, but ANYTHING is appreciated.  On behalf of all of us at Columbus, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts, for ensuring all our students have equal access to education during these stressful and unprecedented times.  Can't wait to sweat with you and get these kids some WiFi!
