One of my favorite parts of being an author, is doing read-a-louds with children in the community!

On Saturday, January 4th, I'm thrilled to be joining the celebration of Three Kings Day in Charlotte hosted by Levine Museum of the New South.

As part of the festivities, I will be reading from my picture book “La Noche Before Three Kings Day” (HarperCollins). A twist on an old classic, my book--told in dual lingual, rhythmic text--captures the magic and wonder of this treasured Latine/x holiday from a child's point of view.

HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN: With over 100 attendees expected, some from economically challenged communities where buying books is a luxury, I am seeking sponsors to help me donate a copy of my book to as many families as possible at the event. The goal I've set would help sponsor about 60 books!
