This past March 2015 my brother Ross was admitted into the hospital in acute renal failure. After 10 days of intense medical care his kidney biopsy results revealed his kidneys were functioning at less than 20%. Ross continues to receive excellent care from his team of physicians. He has just been accepted into the Albert Einstein Medical Center Kidney Transplant Program of which there are 1200 people awaiting a donor kidney ahead of him.
Ross is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from his friends, family and the community as he recovers from his fistula surgery needed for dialysis.
Ross is 42 years old and lives in Bucks County Pennsylvania with his beautiful family. Medical and non medical expenses not covered by insurance are arriving daily, adding extreme stress to a family already in crisis.
My brother will be on dialysis 2 hours a day, 6 days a week until a donor match is found.
