SPLISH SPLASH – HELP CAMP MASSAD BUILD A NEW POOL
Due to an unexpected structural issue, the current pool at Camp Massad is beyond repair and must be replaced. A new pool must be built BEFORE campers arrive for SUMMER 2019! The camp needs to raise $375,000 in order to do so. This is a matter of extreme urgency and is integral to the future operations of Camp Massad.
THE CHALLENGE: RAISE $36,000 AND HELP CAMP MASSAD REACH 10% OF ITS POOL FUNDRAISING GOAL!
The good news!
Plans are already underway to ensure that this will happen – but we need more help!
Camp is undertaking a multi-pronged approach to raise these funds, including, reaching out to the community for donations, seeking grants and of course, this Go Fund Me Campaign.
The new pool is going to be incredible!
The pool is going to be TWICE AS LARGE as the current one and in the spirit of Camp’s continued efforts to ensure that every aspect of Camp can be enjoyed by all campers, the pool will be FULLY ACCESSIBLE !
For those of you who don’t know, since 1953, Camp Massad’s mission has been to create a dynamic summer camp experience that encourages the use of the Hebrew language, promotes pride in Jewish identity, and connects campers to their community and Israel in a safe, nurturing, inclusive, creative and fun-loving environment. Camp Massad is a non-profit organization in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba
Personally, I attended Camp Massad from 1989-2007. Some of my best summers, and most formative moments of my life happened at Camp Massad. It is truly the best place in the world.
I want to ensure that many future generations of Massadnicks get to have the wonderful experiences and opportunities that I was so fortunate to receive.
