My Blue Lake International Trip

Hello friends!
For as long as I can remember, music has been much more to me than a hobby. It has been something I’ve been passionate about and have strived to improve on throughout high school, and I will continue to take steps to improve. Next year, I will be attending Michigan State University to study Human Biology in preperation for medical school, but I will still be involved with the performing arts.
Recently, I have been presented with an amazing opportunity to travel abroad to further practice vocal music with the Blue Lake International Choir as an Alumni. (the picture on the page is a picture from my tour in 2012 with my host family in Foix, France) Blue Lake offered me a scholarship to help fund my trip and my family offered to help me, but the cost is still quite substantial. I am taking steps to save money in preparation for this trip, but i was invited at late notice, any help I could get would be very much appreciated. This incredible opportunity would help me to grow as both a performer and as a person. Not only would I be touring and singing alonsideother talented singers and learn from directors around the world, but I also would be immersed into the culture of five different cities in Germany and France! Members of the Blue Lake International Program stay with a different host family in each of the cities we will be touring.
