Mastectomy Surgery

Donation protected
Four weeks ago I received an abnormal breast MRI results and endured the biopsy to reveal benign papilloma tissue. With my extensive family history of breast cancer on both sides of my family and my genetic profile, it's been suggested that I have I mastectomies with reconstruction. I've consulted six surgical teams and will be ultimately be traveling to New Orleans, LA to have my mastectomy and reconstruction performed in the next few weeks. My family has generously offered to pay part of my medical bills on loan, and I am trying to come up with the money for the surgery. As it is, I can barely afford Stage I. If I were to have any issue and need stage II, I would need to come up with more funds while recovering from surgery. I'm 30 years old, newly single, and struggling with the reality of this situation. I have diagnosed OCD and anxiety, and followed by a major breakup and some life events, I'm in desperate need of both help and prayers. I hate asking for assistance, but I'm strapped without a lot of options here. This surgery isn't a matter of if I need it, but when - and right now I'm healthy enough that, even though the biopsy was benign, my team (and second opinions) suggest I absolutely do not wait. About me: I'm a military veteran with an honorable discharge as an officer. I worked a four. I volunteer with addiction and recovery centers, and I also help a Veterans Crisis Line when I'm able. Please consider helping me by a small donation or sharing this GoFundMe. Thank you all.
