Justin Gillespie is an outstanding individual who has made an immense impact on the Lubbock community. As a personal trainer, Justin has quickly risen to the top of his company, proving his ability as a trailblazer and his commitment to helping others in their journey to a healthy happy lifestyle. On July 22nd of 2018, Justin’s life was changed forever. He is now facing a full venous reconstruction surgery on June 20th, in Denver, CO.
When Justin was born, he had a congenital birth defect that has now led to being diagnosed with a DVT (deep vein thrombosis), as well as finding out that he was missing his main femoral vein preventing blood flow to his heart on his left side that has caused many heart problems. He has 100% occlusion to his heart on his left side and 48% on his right. Since then he has undergone many surgeries and seen four different specialists, all of whom were unable to find him a solution. At 29, Justin has now finally found a specialist in Denver, who will be performing a life changing surgery. Throughout this long journey of medical mysteries, Justin has quickly accumulated many expenses. With over $10,000 in medical bills, plus expenses for the big trip to Denver, there is no one more deserving than Justin Gillespie. For all that he has done for the community of Lubbock, we are certain that this community can pull together to bless Justin and his family abundantly!
