There are no words to describe how we felt yesterday. Words cannot do it justice!!! We are so blown away by your love and support- that has given us the strength to face each day without Nick. The tribute and the dedication of the patio in Nick’s memory took us by complete surprise. We were so humbled and also feel extremely blessed to have each one of you in our lives. Please pass on our gratitude to all that we’re there and to those that were not able to make it but were involved.

TEAM! - WE DID IT TOGETHER!
The tribute yesterday was beyond perfect. Everyone's stories and memories made it so special for Chrissie, Thanasi and Georgia and all Nick's friends and Reserve family. We miss him dearly but this bench, this neighborhood family, this crew of lifelong friends are a true testament to the great man Nick was and the legacy he has left. Paying it forward.
This morning while walking my dog, I stopped to sit on the bench for a moment to reflect. Wow…. A very special & beautiful place has been created. You can’t help but smile when you are there. Take it all in friends…. And, I’ll be looking forward to meeting ya’ll at the bench for a glass of wine or bubbly ANYTIME! ☺
So much appreciation and gratitude to everyone who contributed time, materials, funds, love and support for this amazing project. It takes a village, and House Spiropoulos’ Village is the most remarkable by far. This project was a labor of love for us all. And it could not have been completed without each one of you. We are humbled by your dedication and generosities.

We will meet at the Barn for bubbles and bites at 4p - bring your favorite appetizer if you like!
The plan is to gather, chat, toast to Nick and saunter over to the bench for the big reveal and blessing from Father V! Chrissie and her kids know only that the neighborhood wants to toast to Nick on his one year anniversary of passing.
They are unaware of the Bench.

Friends, this memorial bench for Nick is stunning...it is everything we wanted it to be and so much more. it is complete and a reality only because of you. Funded, Designed and Built by Nick's friends. Am in awe and full of gratitude to all who have contributed funds, services, designs, efforts, ideas and patience. We truly have a very special neighborhood.
Mike Brooks is doing some landscaping clean up in the area this week and hoping to add a little lighting detail to enhance the area further. So amazing! What a great team effort! Amazing.

We are Friends of Nick Spiropoulos.
We are raising funds to pay for the materials and hard costs necessary to build a beautiful, modern, neighborhood memorial bench in honor of Nick's love, friendship and dedication to the wellness and growth of our special community.
THE STORY:
October 26th marks the one year anniversary when we tragically lost our dear friend Nick to ALS. To honor Nick’s life and his genuine love and dedication to our community, a handful of us started a TOP SECRET Tribute project that we would like to share with you today, in hopes that you will join us.
THE PROJECT:
To build a beautiful, modern, artistic bench in his honor.
This is not an ordinary bench. It’s unique curved design is contemporary, elegant, fun, thoughtful and inviting. Nick always enjoyed bringing groups of people together, so we made it big enough to seat twice as many. Nick understood the invaluable importance of lasting friendships, so we made it of premium materials to withstand the test of time. And as a humble expression of our appreciation for all his generous Community contributions, the bench is being hand crafted by a community of his friends; who are local craftsmen, artisans and neighbors.
Reminder: this is TOP SECRET for Chrissie and the kids!
LOCATION:
Nick’s bench will be installed under the two large live oak trees above the tennis court since he loved to sit there watching, keeping score and heckling neighborhood tennis matches. This will be a beautiful place the entire community can enjoy on a break from a walk or while overseeing a tennis match. If you go by there today, you will see the new flagstone pad that anxiously awaits…
There will be a saying Nick frequently quoted on site as well:
“There are small ships, there are tall ships,
there are ships that sail the sea….
But the best ships are friendships,
long may they be!”
CONTRIBUTIONS:
This project will be funded by personal donations only. We are seeking funds to cover materials and hard costs. All artisans and craftsmen have generously donated their time and services. Your contributions are needed and greatly appreciated by Oct 27th, 2019.
Donations online and by check are going direct to the Spiro’s Fore a Cure Inc., Non Profit organization.
