Help Shelby Perkins Heath and husband Tim

Spirit of Texas is Requesting All Who Can to Please Help Shelby Perkins Heath and Her Husband Tim Recover and Rebuild Their Lives as They Honor the Life of Their Beloved Daughter Leighton Riley Heath.

Please help us support one of our Spirit families as they navigate funeral and memorial arrangements for their two-week-old daughter.  Shelby and her husband Tim welcomed their brand-new baby girl, Leighton Riley Heath into the world on January 5th, 2021 with so much love and joy.  As new parents, they were so ecstatic to bring Leighton home and start their life as a perfect little family of three.  Their happiness turned into devastation overnight on January 21st when Leighton suddenly left this earth to be with the Lord.

Shelby has been part of our Spirit family for many years and exemplified hard work, dedication and team spirit.  She took the lessons learned in All-Star Cheerleading to The University of Texas and cheered her Longhorns to victory many times as a UT cheerleader as well.  Her positive attitude and determination made her a role model for many cheerleaders who looked up to her.

Shelby and her husband are heart-broken, and we want to wrap them in grace and comfort them during this tragic time.  We would like to help carry the financial burden of their medical bills, funeral expenses and a memorial for Leighton while they grieve, seek counseling and try to move forward with their lives.  We ask that our Spirit family come together to donate what they can.  Any amount is appreciated.  Also, please continue to share to help support this wonderful family.  Thank you.
