Help Revive Rowe, Where People Find Community

Tax deductible
THE SPIRIT OF ROWE FUND

Rowe Camp and Conference Center was founded in 1924 as a summer camp for children and teenagers in the Berkshire hills. Starting in the 1970s, Rowe began hosting adult conference programs where participants find a supportive community and make life-long friendships.

For generations, Rowe has helped people discover new aspects of themselves and form deep connections with others. It is a place where anyone, at any stage of life, can go to feel accepted and embraced, and take away a renewed sense of their intrinsic worth as a person.

Today, Rowe faces a serious threat and needs our support.

Like other nonprofits that depend on people gathering together, Rowe has been severely tested by COVID. In the aftermath of the pandemic's worst years, many of these organizations were forced to close. Rowe survived but has absorbed several tough blows: a significant drop in camp and conference enrollment, a decline in fundraising support, and abrupt leadership departures. Perhaps most heartbreaking of all, camps were canceled this past summer due to concerns that Rowe was not adequately prepared to provide a safe and engaging experience for all campers.

This is a perilous moment for Rowe. Without an infusion of financial support, Rowe will lose the capacity to run the camps and conferences that have transformed thousands of lives.

But there is hope. New leadership at Rowe is working with a community of dedicated volunteers to restore enrollment to full strength. This initiative needs financial resources to get Rowe’s operating budget back on firm ground. Our goal is to raise $350,000 by November 28. The funds will enable Rowe to make the investments in personnel and programming necessary to revive its camps and conferences.

100% of the amount raised will support Rowe's operations.

This fundraising campaign is crucial to the future of Rowe. If you or a loved one have ever felt the transformative impact of Rowe, or if you simply believe that inclusive gathering places like Rowe should exist, please give generously today. Your support will put Rowe in a strong position to help people find community and self-worth for many years to come.
