Trying to get a apartment!!!

 

Hi, My name is Jim and I was displaced after living in a condo in Haverhill ,Ma for 11 years. My landlord sold the condo on 500 Water street #7A on 7/2/21. I had moved out in 5/15/21. By the way I always paid my rent to him even with covid happening in 2020. I am retired and tried to go and work but I have duputrens contracture on my both hands and being 65 and no method of transportation I find my self in a disadvantage to work. I am living at the Best Western on Lowell ave in Haverhill,Ma. The cost at this time is $2058.00 a month, between my social security and my small pension I have not enough money to pay. I've put in for senior housing in 12/20/20 and am on the waiting list, l also I put in for section 8 voucher program too. I collect on the snap program which helps for food. I don't want to be out in the streets, I'm a clean man, don't do drugs, have a clean background. I would love to have enough money to get a 1 bedroom apt, but housing is so much in demand. I would appreciate any help in this matter. God Bless all in this holiday season. 

Update as of 3/29/2022, I have saved money towards a apartment , but need additional money for security deposit!! I see some apartments available and their requirement is first,last and security.  I would appreciate any help in regards of getting the funds needed to get a apartment.
