Hi everyone, we are part of Spanglish, a team of Venezuelan and Latin women here in the United States.

Since traveling to Venezuela is not possible for us right now, as active players, we want to do everything we can to support our families back home.

Three weeks ago, we got the news that we qualified for the Masters Nationals. We were very happy because this is a new experience for us. But yesterday, we made the hard decision not to go.

As many of you know, this Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, there were two earthquakes in Venezuela. The situation is very difficult for many of us. Some of our teammates have lost family members and missing family that still haven't been able to contact , friends we cannot reach, and pets that are alone in the emergency.

As a team, Spanglish decided that the money we saved for our 'team fee' will be sent to help our people in Venezuela.

The funds raised will be used to provide tools, medical supplies, clothing, diapers, milk, baby formula, bed sheets, mattresses, safety equipment, flashlights, and food for animals, as well as to help cover funeral expenses and other urgent needs.
