Hi, my name is Ned and I am a 7-year-old beagle. I live in Toronto, Canada. I am a very good boy and I love my parents. I love everyone and a lot of people love me. Most of all I love belly rubs and meeting new furry friends. My mommy and daddy have helped me explore a lot throughout the years.
But on March 27th when my dad was giving me my morning walk I fell down and couldn't walk anymore. I didn't know why so my dad had to pick me up and take me home. We then went to the hospital, I wasn't sure why because I already got all my annual checkups and vaccines done. When my dad talked to the vet he seemed very upset. Doctors say it has to do with my spine and nerves. My back legs are paralyzed and I got a herniated disc and it requires immediate surgery to save my back legs. They said it is "Interverte Disc Disease". I want to have my walks and run around my apartment. But unfortunately, the surgery cost and expenses associated with hospitalization, anesthesia, etc are very high and my daddy is doing everything he can to make sure that I can play fetch and run for sticks again. My parents, friends, and relatives are trying to collect as much money as possible to cover the upfront costs. But to cover the entire procedure requires around $12,500 CAD. Every time we will be getting a bill for my treatment my dad will make sure to post it and provide all the up-to-date information on it.
Please donate and help Ned walk again.
