I was really having a difficult time with the idea of asking for help despite the fact that I always donate to others. My dog Rusty woke up on November 25th completely paralyzed. We rushed him to our vet who immediately sent us to an emergency vet. The emergency vet referred Rusty to a neurologist who recommended an emergency surgery as he was diagnosed with IVDD after many tests. A disc in his spine ruptured and partially severed his spine as it was weakened from disease. I had all of five minutes to decide and made the decision to have the surgery. Since then I have had to move apartments to accommodate recovery as I previously lived in a three story walk up. I am paying double rent on top of physiotherapy. I have had to buy a washing machine and dryer as I have to constantly have laundry going as he is incontinent. Due to constant care I either forego meals or eat out. I need even the tiniest bit of support right now ❤️

i went through a major surgery myself recently and i was catching up with the financial burden from that as well.

Any help I can get would help so much.
