Spinal Implant Could Help Wounded Green Beret Walk

This warrior’s name is Brandon Kasnick.  He is a Green Beret & Combat Diver from 3rd Special Forces Group that was wounded in combat while serving in Afghanistan. His injuries were complicated and complex, but ultimately, he ended up paralyzed.

Now due to a spinal operation and a surgical implant scheduled for May 18, 2021 he might, one day, be able to walk again.  Brandon could not be more grateful to the VA and the surgeons that are providing this opportunity. He has a long, difficult journey ahead of him and the recovery is expected to be at least 6 months.

During this recovery period (at least 25 weeks), Brandon will be paying for his own travel, meals, and lodging. He will be required to be at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA, for 5 days a week. 5 days a week paying out of pocket is going to add up fast and the last thing this man needs is an extra hardship. We did the math, and this goal is just a rough estimate… and it’s damn steep.  This doesn’t include all of the appointments that he has already absorbed just to get to this point.

What ever you can do to help out is greatly appreciated. Not just Brandon, his family & friends, but all the men of the Special Forces, thank you!
