Spinal cord stimulator surgery and stem cell treatment

Hello, my name is Mahmut Akgün. I need your support to be able to walk again.
In 2008, at the age of 21 — the most productive time of my life — I was involved in a traffic accident that left me with a spinal cord injury. Since then, I have had to live with paralysis and face many ongoing health challenges over the years.
Unfortunately, the treatments I’ve been able to access with limited resources have not been enough to help me walk again.
But now, advances in medical technology have given me hope. A spinal cord stimulator, developed in the USA, has shown promising results in helping paralysed patients like me in different countries.
My doctor noticed some slight positive movement in my right leg and told me that if I can have this surgery, I may have a real chance to get out of my wheelchair and walk again with crutches.
However, this surgery and the necessary post-operative physiotherapy come at a high cost: $45,000 USD in total.
I am currently short of $25,000 USD to complete my treatment.
I have a proforma invoice from my doctor showing exactly where your donations will go.
With your support, I hope to dream again — of walking, of standing on my own two feet.
I am truly grateful for any help you can provide. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
