Help support me after I suffered a spinal cord injury that initially paralyzed me from the waist down. I am saving up for a wedding and this injury made me unable to work for months, taking a toll on my finances.
In October 2025, I was in an ATV (4-wheeler) accident in which I was ejected from the vehicle and landed on my back. I sustained a burst fracture to my T12 vertebrae, which compressed by spinal cord by 50% and initially paralyzed me from the waist down (see x-ray).
Thankfully after a successful surgery and months of physical therapy, I am able to walk on my own without needing to use a cane or a crutch. But life still has its day-to-day challenges because of this injury.
I was off work and on short-term disability from October 2025 to April 2026. Not being able to work for half a year took a toll financially. I am trying to save up for a wedding with my fiancée, and we've had to push our wedding date back because of this accident.
Being paralyzed and having to relearn how to walk has been the most challenging period of my life. Funds raised will help me financially recover from having to take time off work.
I'd also like to encourage everyone to consider donating to a spinal cord rehab facility if one exists near you.
Any amount helps. Thank you in advance. - Brandon
