Spinal cord injury fund for Robin Bellavance

On December 13, 2019 my father Robin Bellavance fell  in his apartment and laid there for 18 hours before he could yell for help. He was then shipped to Winnipeg HSC where, after many tests, it was determined he had a major spinal cord injury. He was later shipped to St Joes rehab hospital where he has been for 3 months. As a result of his fall he is now paralyzed from the neck down. He is working hard in rehab but no new results have developed. Robin needs to have a wheelchair made which he will be able to control with his mouth. These wheelchairs are very expensive and although the government chips in some funds, not all are covered by this. Robin will also require a special bed and mechanical lift to get him to and from his chair. Quadrapalegic care is very expensive and I am not completely sure of future costs. I am starting this fundraiser at $10,000 to get started and help get funding for my dad

Robin is a very proud private person who’s world has been totally turned upside down. From being such an independent person for many years to now depending on everyone for absolutely everything in his daily routines. It is breaking my family’s heart to see him struggling everyday and watching him stay strong for them.
